Courtesy of Staffordshire Setpoint we had a test day at RAF Stafford on Saturday 25th November where we decided to test whether one set of batteries would last for 2 hours without charging them. We ran for 1hr 40 mins until the driver became too cold and we called it a day, but it was a sucessful test as we discovered how much the batteries dropped, giving us a rough idea of a battery change strategy. Stealth have be aquired the school garage to keep the car in, so that we can work on it in a better environment. Our plans for the upcoming season are to get some sort of rev counter and an ammeter, and get all-new bodywork to replace the current bodywork to make the car more streamlined and better looking. A few other adjustments will have to be made to comply with the new regulations bu these are well under way. We'll keep you updated during further development. |
